Grant Description
Grants of up to $5,000 to Montana nonprofit organizations and government agencies to benefit residents in eligible communities. Funding is intended to support programs and projects that offer an ongoing benefit to the community. Projects should be sustainable and meet important, previously unmet needs. Funded projects must serve the residents of Darby.


Additional Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or an exempt governmental unit.

While grants must be used for projects benefiting the Darby community and residents, the grantee organization does not need to be based in Darby.

Ineligible projects include one-time events, conferences, workshops, planning, research, untested projects, and partisan or sectarian activities.

Pre-Application Information
The 2024 grant cycle will be open February 1-29, 2024.

Only one application is allowed per organization.

Estimated Size of Grant
Grants will be made up to $5,000.
